I was contacted very quickly and informed that my problem will be sorted out, but it will take some time. Based on this information, I opted not to send the entire handset back on OBF since the faulty headphones would have been replaced without any hassles.
It is now almost 3 months later and I'm yet to receive any correspondence from Cell C apart from marketing phone calls. Add this to the frequency of dropped calls and other issues I have encountered and I would not recommend Cell C to anyone, even though their packages are so well priced.
