Vodacom 3G unavailable in Somerset West since Nov

I recently moved to Somerset West and was delighted to find great 3G connectivity with my Vodacom 3G modem after not being able to use the service at a satisfactory level in Stellenbosch for almost a year.

Unfortunately after living in my new place for? 3 weeks, the connection just disappeared. I gave it some time before contacting Vodacom to ask for an explanation and they replied to my call (4 Dec 2012) after 7 days to notify me that they are busy with upgrades in my area (11 Dec 2012). It's now almost 2 months since my internet connectivity have been very spurious and I have not been able to work at home at all during this time. I have also been paying my full monthly subscription fee during this time.

I am due to submit a funding grant next week and cannot work at night due to the lack of connectivity.
