Our area telephone lines were damaged. I did not have service for 3 weeks.when I reported the fault, I was told that I could get a credit for the 3 weeks of no service. I did not receive my account and contacted call centre customer line. I requested a copy of the account and was told that it must be emailed to me as I could not get this info without seeing the account which is utter nonsense. I insisted for a email copy which was sent to me and noticed that I did not get full credits for telephone line and Adsl. I requested to speak to someone and was told that I must raise a dispute which will take 72 hours. I did not get a response as promised and was told that the problem is not resolved. I spoke to Mapone Ramointsoe who could not help and said that I must wait for a response. I requested a manager and she stated that he was not available. She did not know his surname but said he was named Trevor Booi after I insisted that she must get his name. She promised that he will call me which he never did. The service is a shocker and the skills of the people on the client help line is not good.
I just want to pay the correct amount. Client service is not a priority at Telkom!
