Our first visit as new members was disgusting, i requested the childminding services, receptionist directed me and i went through and saw a room with a tv with table and chairs. There was a african male sittting in that room with his shoes out relaxing and watching tv. I left immediately and went back to the lady at front and she said it was fine for me to just keep my daughter with me but to make sure she does not hurt herself or go near equipment. I didnt like the idea but i proceeded to the side where the cycling machines were and i started to use the machine whilst keeping my child around me. I noticed a man reprimanding a staff member and he was referring to us and pointing out that the child should not be there. I approached him and found that he was an "off duty site manager" i explained what i was told and he was so rude to me in return, shouting over the loud music and causing the other gymers to watch. He questioned my parenting and said if i was a good parent i wont bring my child there. I told him that he had no right to question my parenting skills and that they were false advertising when selling the gym contract as we were told that they have fulltime child minders.
