Health and safety risk with equipment

The pull-up bar at the club is a safety risk as it offers no protection on your hands and is mounted next to a concrete pillar where you can hurt your knees.
I have torn my hand on the machine and complained about it for a couple of months now with no feedback.
I have also emailed head office and yet no response from them neither.
I will hold virgin active responsible for my medical costs if nothing is done about this.
