Bad Service and not doing what was promised

My husband and I joined Virgin Active last year, upon signing up we were informed that if for any reason we needed to put our contract on hold for a few months for eg if your pregnant - you could do so. I phoned earlier this year to put our contract on hold as I was pregnant and was told that I couldn't as our contract is through Discovery vitality. This upset me as we specifically asked about this, and was told by the sales manager that we could put our contract on hold. We have to now check in a number of times at the gym before end of September or our membership will be lost. Candice contacted me with a courtesy call and I explained to her what had happened and that I am really dissapointed in their service. I have a new born baby at home and can not drive. She said I must drop our cards and that she would sign me in for the remainder of the month each day. I came in and dropped the cards on Saturday and we still haven't been signed in once!!! I phoned and was told that she was in training until Thursday. The guy I spoke to said he will sort it out and get back to me. No surprise!! No feedback and you are not doing what you promised!!!
