I am a member of Virgin Active and am paying around 400 rand a month, i brought a friend for a days training with me. (Note that the last time i did this, my brother got in for free because it was only one day) however this time we were expected to pay R150 just for one days training. I find this a little ridiculous as I am a paying member. I understand that if i was bringing someone everyday then please make them pay. If i had brought my friend again i would except her to pay, but this was her first time at Virgin Active and i am sure it was not a good first impression for her, seeing as she is looking to join a gym (I doubt she'll join after the service received today), also the 'card swiper' was rather offish to us.
