I was advised by the running shoe 'specialist' after I refused an assessment, to take a model, contrary to my prior assessments by a Qualified Orthotist that I'd run better in a different model, but he was reluctant to provide alternatives. He advised I try them out (run in them!) & if unhappy could gladly bring them back. Had a short run, wasn't 100% happy, wanted a perfect fit considering they cost R1080! Returned, told I was unreasonable & they've never had this policy, would do an examination, as they suddenly only returned 'damaged goods'. I waited a week for a phonecall-could only give me a credit note. I was dissatisfied, live in Durban & now wanted to purchase my shoes here, as well as concerning their inadequately-trained staff concerning store policies. I was made to feel I was in the wrong & was following the store's advice! Waited another week for further information, personally phoned, drove to Pmb, was patronised, partly refunded, demanding I still pay the 'assessment fee", which I clearly refused on the day. They told me their staff has more training than a qualified Orthotics Dr.! Had issues before returning shoes advised by their 'specialist' that gave me blisters
