I terminated my contract at Curves Centurion on 7/02/2013 and notified them in writing within 7 days, with their products still in the original condition. According to the agreement and refund forms, I am entitled to the full refund. However, they have withheld R120.00 of my money because they gave me passwords to log onto their website. I have never used the passwords and I informed them that I have no intention of using the password. I don't understand why I have to be punished because they are unable to block my access to their site. That is a control risk of their system design and that has nothing to do with me.
There was no mention of any cancellation fee on the agreement so why is Curves entitled to my money?
I requested Michelle Bardenhorst at Curves, to escalate the matter; still no response to date.
Can anyone recommend a consumer rights organization, that I can report this to.
