I went into Cotton On in Canal Walk today to exchange a pair of pyjama pants for another size, and the staff member behind the till immediately shook his head - I did not have the slip, nor the swing ticket as I received these as a gift, but I did not want my money back, I purely wanted to exchange. Next thing another girl comes to "help" and goes to speak to the manager, keeping me waiting for a while, I see her typing on her cellphone as she returns (very unprofessional). She then says to me they need to do a quality check because the pants look faded and she has never seen that stock before! Now this girl obviously has NO idea about what stock she has in her store - the fabric has a faded look to it, and the stock is not more than a month old - I dont work in the store and I know that!
It is such a shame that shop attendants can be so unhelpful and so clueless! this is your job, make it seem that way! I will take my money and spend it elsewhere!
