I was informed by my bank yesterday that I have been listed on ITC by Woolworths.
On contacting woolworths I was informed that the amount in question was R 47.00 and this is for a card protection fee that I cancelled in 2011. They apologised for the error and promised to send me a letter yesterday for me to submit to my bank.
I still don't have this letter.
I have a clean credit record up to this point and received absolutely no notification from Woolworths that I would be listed or that I owed this money. I consider this to be defamation of character and intend to take this matter further.
