On 14 April i visited the Checkers branch in Thee Rivers to buy some groceries. I normally buy the Dairybelle yogurt (Fruit) for me and my kids, but was shocked to see that the particular flavour had already exprired in the middle of March but was still on the shelves? The peach flavour had a more recent expiry date (April) but as we all prefer the fruit one i had to opt to buy another brand. I mentioned it to one of the staff on the floor but they did not look to interested and just said that the would report it. i am very particular about not buying expired goods and find it shocking that something like yogurt can still be on the shelve a month after expiring? Is this the resoonsibility of Checkers to check or does the supplier stock up the shelves?
