VROT CHICKEN

I bought "fresh' chicken breasts that was not past the sell by date yesterday. When I wanted to cook it a few hours later and opened the packing it smelled off. I would return it but lost my slip, I swiped my card though. Can I still get my money back? PS: I saw a mouse in the same store in December, some staff at the tills saw it as well, that should have warned me to shop there. MXM.
