Poor quality and bad ustomer service

I bought my wife a Tissot watch for our anniversary in Sep and in January the watch stopped working. As the watch was still under guarantee i took it back to their branch in Canal Walk where i was told by the manager on duty that the watch had to be sent to their preferred repairer to have the battery replaced. The company was in Jhb and could take up to 6 WEEKS. MY WIFE AT THIS POINT WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. I firstly could not understand that in this modern day of age where air and road freight has become so evolved that it would take 6 weeks to have a watch battery replaced.
After 6 weeks had passed and having not heard anything yet i went into the branch and spoke to a consultant who could not tell me anything except that the watch had not arrived yet. I told her that i ould return the following week and sugested that they had some answers for me. When i returned i spoke the person on duty who had no idea what i was talking about, who then went to heck the records and told me that the watch had come in ut was sent back again because it still wasnt working and that they had no idea at all when i would get the watch back.
Its been 2 months so far. I WILL NEVER BUY THERE
