I bought a ladder at Makro in December 2012. The ladder was broken so I returned it to Makro on the 30/12/12. They placed the ladder back on the shelf! Nevertheless, they swiped my credit card to refund the money and said that the money will be in my account after 7 working days. I phoned them to report that the money is not in my account after 7 days, then I was told that I need to proof its not in my account by submitting a bank statement. I went on the 13th January 2013 with ATM statements that clearly shown that there is no refund in my account, but they contacted me the following day and said I have to go to my bank and get a formal statement. I want my money, but it is such a inconvenience to go to the other side of the town to stand in a queue for a formal statement, when I have allready shown them that there is no money in my account. They need to give me proof that they transfer the money into my account, am I not the customer? I want my money ASAP!
