I entered into a rent to own contract with Teljoy for a home theatre system with blue ray. My payments were up to date until the Blu-ray player packed up during the festive season, The time I needed it most.(Being School holidays) I sent teljoy 8 e-mails stating my predicament. And received no reply. Eventually I sent a mail stating that I will withhold payment until my player is fixed or replaced. Then they suddenly got my mail. I received a new Blu-ray player and sent them a direct payment and Faxed it trough to "Sorina". Then after a small accident which sent my coffee cup flying over my table, my payment slip was thrown away. Even after I paid R706.00 (2 months) I was told it is still in arrears. Why would Teljoy my R706 and still come and fetch their equipment due to non payment. And if I find that they put me on ITC due to their mistake, I WILL open a case against them.
