I have been a faithful shopper of woolies for years and now will think again before buying any clothing/shoes at any woolies store. The reason being that Woolies, in it's infinite wisdom, have now begun charging a substantial amount MORE for most clothing over the 6 - 12 size!! Are you penalising bigger customers?? I have been told that the bigger shoe sizes are also being marked up. Woolies marketing strategy is that they are there to help the customer stretch their meagre funds in this economy challenged environment. What has changed all of a sudden? Could the management of woolies please respond and let their customers know why they are taking this biased action? Remember, there are more bigger people than there are smaller sized people in SA. Sadly, this is FACT. So Woolies, be very careful whom you are being biased against or penalising with your pricing strategy!! Woolies foodstuff and meats are also not as fresh even though the expiry date is for a while yet. I have complained about this at various times, in various stores and to various managers. Woolies should not take its customers for granted.
