On the 09/02/2013 I went to the dance boutique in northmead which shares the premises with a dance school.
As never doing tap and going to varies dance shops I enquired about tap takkies.
I was sold jazz shoes (which look similar to the tap takkies) I was told exactly where to take the shoes to have the taps put on and shown in the shop how it would be fitted. I followed the sales lady instructions. I even asked if she was sure they were the shoes used next door at the dance school.
10 minutes into my first tap lesson the taps started to come off and I was informed that I had been sold jazz shoes.
On dealing with the boutique I found them extremely unprofessional. The sales lady and said the owner had tried to call me and left messages which she had not done.
I finally spoke to the owner over the phone and she shouted at me and basically called me a and wanted me to come into the shop.
I did so only to find her husband there with a print out of the consumer protection act and highlighted certain areas but he only had from section 3. He basically sat me down and treated me like a child and to my face said he did not believe my story, and only believed his staff.
