Purchased a royal comfort Henwood bed from designer bed in Boksburg last year February, the mattress is only just 1 year old now and the comfort level is deteriorating daily, the memory foam top has become softer over the past year to the point that when you on the mattress your lower back has no support and sinks into the mattress, I contacted Denesh at designer beds early February and Henwood has since then done a visual investigation, there response is that the bed is fine and it's a comfort issue from my side as the mattress is too soft, funny how it was perfect for the first six months, Henwood will charge me to upgrade the memory foam in the bed but no longer hold the remaining 4 year Factory guarantee. To Henwood? why should I pay to upgrade memory foam because the foam used on the mattress is losing comfort and collapsing, me and my partner weigh no more than 70kg each, surely the foam should be capable of handling this weight without losing comfort/sinking after 1 year!! The salesmen at designer beds Boksburg likes to compare the Henwood product to that of SIMMONDS ECT, there is no comparison to be made and clearly the 5 year Guarantee from Henwood means nothing
