Shoe Sizes

I wanted to purchase squash shoes at Macro. When I went in January, they had hardly any shoes. When I went in February, they had a few shoes, but the sizes were all wrong. I have taken a size 8 mens for the last thirty years. In one brand the 8 was too small & the 9 too long and in another brand the 9 was too small to get my foot into.

The staff told me that they were "Chinese" sizes. However, the size indicated "UK 8" and I'm sure that China has the same metric tape measures as the rest of the world. Its bad enought to be out of stock or have sub-standard stock, but to make up stories about why is just annoying!
