Simphiwe Masiza is one of the smooth men of the HR industry. He describes himself as an international speaker, change architect, leadership and transformation consultant, MC, conference speaker, personal transformation and mastery facilitator/expert. His company Empowaworx has many "delighted clients" including Telkom, Eskom, Wits University, SAA, SABC, First Rand Holdings, BMW, Liberty Life, Discovery Health, Anglo American, Woolworths etc, etc.
Only problem is Simphiwe doesn't pay his bills.
He contracted to take 11 inside front covers in one of our magazines. To date he has paid R20 000 out of the R60 000 owed from January this year and provides lots of excuses why he won't settle the balance.
Such a pity that Simphiwe appears to lose his smoothness when it comes to writing out cheques.
He agreed that we could place this note on the internet if the account was not settled late in 2012..
