This Checkers is ridiculous! 1) Wait to weigh veggies - no one at scale, 2) queue for who knows how long, customer before me forgot card in car and left groceries at till to fetch card - only after about 5 mins did the cashier decide to void the transaction and help the rest of the queue, 3) cashier rings up my groceries and swiped my card - the till started hanging and she kept on swiping. Got a rude attitude after asking what the problem is. She eventually called someone else to assist - to no avail - and I keep on hearing the same story - "the machine is hanging, there is nothing anyone can do". She also told me that the till gave this very same problem since this morning. Why is this till even open then??? Missing a meeting because of this, no one could guarantee that if I leave, the money would not be deducted. Emily (cashier) said I must leave all my things there and come and fetch it later! After insisting repeatedly to see a manager, it took about 10 min to get hold of him (Richard Baker) - he had an even ruder and more obnoxious attitude. Definitely not concerned about customers and shocked that I didn't want the groceries any more.
