Stoneridge Ignores Health and Safety Incident

On 17 October 2012 at 10:20am I tripped over a low metal bar at StoneRidge Shopping Centre, where the Foodlovers Market trolleys are stored. There was no visible signage, and no clear demarcation of the area.

I fell quite hard infront of a number of security guards who graciously assisted me. In the fall, my favorite pair of shoes was ruined and I sustained a number of injuries on my legs most notably my left knee and my left hand. I don't remember bumping my head, but I was in a great deal of pain, dizzy and nauseas. I managed to limp to my car, but was in no state to drive - so called my husband to fetch me.

Despite the fact that there is video surveillance footage of the incident - which Health and Safety representative Brian Eberlein has seen, no action has been taken to compensate me for my injuries. I am still sitting with an unpaid physiotherapy bill as a result of the incident.

Despite numerous attempts to contact Brian Eberlein and Bhadra Nair of Marsh Insurance Brokers, most recently on 12 February 2013 - NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN by Stoneridge Shopping Centre.

I find this unacceptable!
