Today I went to buy the Morphy Richards Rapid Cook. There were two left, one on display and one on the shelf in a "damaged" box. We asked the lady at the counter if there were any more, she went to check and there weren't. We asked if everything was ok, with the one in the "damaged" box, and she said all was fine as it wasn't the demo model. I have now gone and spent 100's of rands on food for dinner to cook in my new cooker. ONLY to find, that the box wasn't damaged, it has been opened as the power cable packet has been ripped and the steamer tray and trivet are missing and the plate inside has been scratched. I am NOT going to let my food go to waste tonight so will therefore be cooking with it and would like to know what it is you plan to do to sort this out as this is unacceptable as it was definitely not a cheap appliance and I do not appreciate being to by store staff. And I hope that this appliance actually works when I cook my meal later...
