On the 23Feb 2013 I went to Spar in Lambton at about 13.30 and a cashier by the name of Vanessa gave me a bad service. I was with a male companion and we were chatting when I put my stuff on the counter she just started scanning without saying a word and asked if I wanted a bag and I told her she did not even greet and now she is asking I want a bag, she blatantly responded by telling me that the fact that I was busy chit chatting she did not see the necessity to greet and rudely told me that by complaining I just want to impress my companion which I thought was disrespectful. The issue is that the attitude one gets from black people on other blacks is appalling and cannot be left as it is. I feel Vanessa took advantage of the fact that maybe I would not complain or take an exception by virtue of being black because the truth is that white customers are treated with respect and dignity and I feel this has to change especially in such establishment as Spar. I have been a customer at that Spar and I go there almost 3 times a week and I have never experienced such rude behaviour. Vanessa changed my attitude towards Spar.
