At the Checkers store we are always hearing problems regarding cartons of cigarettes not being available or they do not have access to the store at the back due to keys not being available or lost when we wish to purchase cartons of Aspen Light or Glamour Pink. We have come into the habit of asking for these upon arrival into the store in the hopes of them being available when we get to the tills which does unfortunately always happen.
The bottle store is also always out of stock of our requirements or try selling us loose bottles/cans to make more money from the deal. When Checkers does not have the cigarettes we often try purchasing these from the Bottle Store as well always with a fight regarding poor management as it appears that the managers are not capable of managing stock or showing any personal interest in the clients.
We are now back with Pick n Pay in the hopes that the service here has improved again. So far so good.
My wife often has the same poor service and comes home venting her frustrations at service delivery.
Does Checkers not train the junior management before the positions are taken up?
