I was at Makro today to purchase a patio set. As I entered the building I saw one on promotion. I asked around for help and eventually the guy in charge for the outdoor stuff came to help me. I told him I want the set and off he went to fetch my goods. After 20min of waiting he came back and told me there is no stock and offered to give me discount to take the set on display. I agreed and he gave me my slip and did not even offer to help me with the loading of the goods onto the trolley. I also bought a cover for my phone and a skateboard helmet. After paying and going to the security checkpoint the lady at the till rang the patio set up as a R2000 skateboard helmet. The patio set wasn't on the slip, only a R2000 skateboard helmet and the phone cover. They scrammbled around and did not know what was going on. They sorted out the slip and they did not ring up the helmet... I told them to just give me the correct slip for what I payed for and to leave the helmet because at this stage I already was at makro for 50min trying to buy a patio set. I feel the situation could have been handeled in a better fashion and a little help around the display floors would be appreciated.
Regards,
JP
