Debit not agreed on

I got a call from a consultant about my edgars debt and we agreed on a payment arrangement of which he gave me 2 months to pay an amount of R750 (something) of which i paid. Even an sms was sent to confirm that. Now i got a text saying i need to pay more money. A debit was done and unfortunately there werent enough funds on my acc. Why was i misled by saying i will pay 2 months and now they are deducting more?
