I have a discrepancy on my current account and decided to call the helpline 0860555111 where I spoke to Sanelisiwe Mchunu. Explained to her that according to my OD facility and the balance on my bank, less 2 transactions still to go thru, that I had a discrepancy of R571 on my bank account. First she did not understand what I tried to convey, I then asked her if she had a calculator. Yes she said, she is calculating. When I asked her repeatedly, what balance she got, she gave me a totally different amt. I asked her to tell me step by step what her calculations were, but she would say for example, R14 000. I asked her to give me the exact amount with which she seemed to have great difficulty. I asked her how she managed to land the job with Nedbank if she can't use a calculator. My patience started running out and was on my cellphone, so I told her I would try and contact someone else. But this is beyond ridiculous! How can Nedbank use employees of this calibre to man their frontline!
