I'm writing this to Ackermans as communicating with Jay Jays doesn't seem to yield any response.
I'll admit, I'm a fan of Jay Jays' approach to decent-looking, affordable fashion. But the quality is shocking. Recently, two shorts I purchased have torn. Now, I've been covering the lower half of my body for most of my life - and I've never torn anything before - so I'm pretty sure my 'actions' aren't the cause.
The first happened while at the beach. I dived into the water to retrieve a tennis ball. However, when I surfaced, I was clutching three rather that just one - the entire inside of the left leg had torn. It wasn't even along the seam - it was the material itself. The second incident occurred last night. I was watching television. I lifted my leg to cross it over the other, as fellows do when watching television. This simple motion was accompanied by the ripping of fabric.
Neither of these incidents involved any sort of excessive leg movement. Goodness knows I can't do the splits. Surely clothing items should be made to be able to withstand ordinary, gentlemanly movement?
Not cool, Jay Jays. Not cool at all.
