Idiotically, I placed a large order with Checkers Cape Gate for Championship sausage at the butcher counter. I ordered directly with the blockman thinking there could not be any problems. At the time, we discussed that the Championship boerewors was on special for 56.99 p/kg. As per our arrangement, I collected on Friday 24/01/14 as I needed the sausage for the Saturday morning. Upon collection however, we received Oukraal sausage, not Championship. The blockman had already left, so there was nothing the 2 ladies at the counter could do as he was the one who told them to give me the Oukraal. I am disgusted with the deteriorating level of service you offer. The sausage was sub-standard as it shrunk to half the size and was smaller than the rolls which I also ordered from Checkers Cape Gate. Things are seriously not looking up for this store, sub-standard food and service seriously chased me away from this store. Even if I have to drive further, I would rather go elsewhere. Disgusted.
