Not sure what meat we got

We purchase Texan steak beef on Saturday when we braai on Saturday afternoon we couldn't eat the meat it fell apart and it was a funny white colour, we had to scrape the spices of the meat it was very thick my mother wasn't with when we braai she also didn't like it we kept quiet but one bite and she told us this meat is disgusting
