Special advertised was R100 for 1 watermelon, 2 spanspek, 1 punnet grapes, 1 punnet peaches, 1 punnet nectarines, 1 punnet plums. However when i got to the store, they were out of stock on the nectarines the peaches were old and rotten. Out of the entire lot of fruit, nectarines are my favourite and hence i enquired if i could take of the loose nectarines and peaches to fill a punnet even if i had to get 4 (because they are a bit bigger than the one's in the punnet) instead of 7 or 8 but they refused. I then enquired why the special was then still being advertised or available at the store since they were aware that they were out of stock on some of teh items. The response was that we should be glad that they are atleast trying to give us a special and must just replace the out of stock items with what is available. I do not agree at all. I want what is advertised. I used my petrol to specifically go and purchase the special advertised and then i have to settle for replacement stock. Totally wrong! In the end i ended up with 1 watermelon, 2 spanspek, 2 punnets grapes and 2 punnets of utterly sour plums.
