After spending nearly R20 000 at Mr Price Home over the festive season in Cash, I decided that since I moved into my new house and am a frequent purchaser. I would instead open an account online, I did this online in December and the account was approved same day. I recieved the reference on my smart ph and on the 17/1/2014 I proceeded to the store to activate the account with the ID. Only to stand in a long que where the teller tells me the account cannot be activated because I did not print the email out on paper! For her filing, I showed her the email, gave the reference she then instructed me to complete the entire application form again... more hostile than i should be. My question to her was is she not able to look on the system with the reference number provided? What about clients who do not have a printer, What about "MRP- Green foot print... time delays and inconvenience? - Her response, "Sorry lady this is how it is". Needless to say that I will not be activating my MRP home account and will do shopping elsewhere.
Evidently buy the attitude, operational requirements overrides customer needs
Very disappointing in the customer service. Loyalty gone!
