I bought a Cadac 4 burner gas braai from Makro Polokwane in July 2013. Two weeks ago l used it for the 3rd time since purchase and the whole gas braai set on fire. Lucily i saw it and closed the gas bottle immediatly.
I bought the braaier already assembled from Makro, but the never ever told me that i loose my warranty if they assemble it. I dont stay in Polokwane anymore, therefore i lodge an complaint with Makro in Wonderboom. They said to me it not there problem and I should contact Cadac directly.
I think this is utterly bad service from them. Once they have your money they don't care what happens
I sent cadac an email, and they are more than willing to sort it out for me and im very greatfull for that.
Nicholus Masibe from Makro asked me to email him photos of the damage, which i did, but im still waiting for an reply???
I am really dissappointed the way makro handled the situation
