I was disgusted at Aldo shoes centurion branch in Pretoria
my daughter liked a shoe in the store, unfortunately they did not have her size
the sales lady said she can get it for her if she waited a few days
my wife agreed, they sent her a text message to say the shoe was in the store
my wife went to buy the shoe, when she got to the store they gave her the shoe which was priced at R499.00 . then they told her she has to pay postage of R235 for getting the shoe for her . so the R499 shoe became R734. she was never informed of any additional charges that she would have to pay, if this was the case she should have left the shoe. South Africans are too soft and stores take full advantage of the situation. when I heard of this I was furious and said this was unacceptable and she should have just left the shoe.
on a different note I purchased a sweat top in America when I got home the buttons fell out
I sent the top back to the store in the USA and complained about the quality, to my surprise they sent me a new top and a free one in the same category as a token for the inconvenience caused . all fedex charges and duty was paid by the sender, now that's what I call service.
