Today I went to buy a cake from the Checkers in the Avenues, Springs. What a disappointment.?! Their food is not fresh, the whole store has a bad odour and their supplied cakes are not fresh. This is not the first time I encountered this problem. Their food's supposed to be freshly prepared, but I have been witness to flies sitting on their prepared food, their fridges are not working, this comes down to bad management. This branch never had these problems, but for the past couple of months it has been going from bad to worse. Something needs to be done with this store. I know staff is an issue most of the time, but there has been times when the tills aren't used to their maximum capacity and one has to stand in a queue when they only have two-three tills open, and this is on month end?
