I purchased a dining room suite from Furniture City Platinum Square, Rustenburg, on 19 January 2013.
I double-checked with the salesman whether deliveries can be done on a Saturday, which he confirmed. I then requested delivery for Saturday 2 February 2013.
That very next Monday, I received a call from someone at the warehouse wanting to arrange for my delivery and I informed them as well, that - as per my original request to the salesman - delivery must only be on 2 February 2013.
The person requested that I contact the store the next week (the week just past) to re-arrange the delivery, which I did. I contacted the store on Monday 28 January 2013 to give the instruction again, to only deliver on Saturday 2 February 2013.
Needless to say, nothing was delivered on Saturday 2 February 2013, and after numerous phonecalls to the store and the salesman, to date no-one has contacted me to make alternative arrangements.
It would seem that no-one really cares, since they have my money they can't be bothered how and when I receive my furniture.
Can this please get escalated to someone that can give me an update on my delivery, for the items I have already purchased???
