This is about Cedar Spar at Bothasig in Cape Town. I always purchase meat from that Spar on a monthly basis sometimes worth thousands, because of the great prices. I am starting to wonder if it is due to some of the produce being "off". Over the last 12 months I have returned meat approximately 4 times, and each time I drive up and down to and from, as I don't live in the area. I have taken back some pork sausage that was off when I purchased it before Christmas last month, however when I got home I noticed out of the 4 packs of pork sausages two of them were rotten smelling. I have however frozen all until the next time I go to Spar, I went last week to exchange or get a refund. The manager (owner) was so rude when I mentioned am I not supposed to get double my money back (which they have never given me at any point). He said no, not on meat. I said bull dust. He should not be dealing with front end clients, with his attitude. I have sent an internet complaint about 3 months ago about the same spar and the same thing, but no one from HQ has come back to me. Please advise urgently, or I will take this matter further up the ranks if I have to. "Our promise"! man!
