On the 29th December 2013, I visited the Pick n Pay at Musgrave. I was hugely disappointed by the treatment and lack of customer care I received from the supervisor and manager at the store.
Pick n Pay had pampers advertised for R167, when I got to the till with the goods, I was being charged R229. I inquired from the supervisor, who could not help me and went to remove the ad. The manager was then called, who told a staff member to go get me a pack from the back, which she did, and I was again charged R229. The manager Malcolm and supervisor were called back to the till and the Manager informed me the goods were actually sold out. This took all of 30 minutes to be done, bearing in mind that I had to go and look for the supervisor and staff members 'assisting' me.
It was a simple issue and no regard was shown for customer care and the fact that I was shopping with a 8 month old baby.
