Still waiting to claim my prize

I entered a competition in August 2013 and received a ref: 183535 to confirm that I won something but I never heard anything from Beacon as of yet. If the competition was cancelled or post phoned surely an sms or some notification should have been sent from the supplier in question. It is bit disappointing because I never won anything but receiving an sms to notify you that you have won and still waiting upon your winnings
