ITC update negligence cost me inconvenience!!!

9 months ago i had paid my edgars account in full and was listed at the bureaus. For 3 months I begged and begged for the paid up letter and finally received it and it stated the following:
Account number: 7000100100080770027

In response to your recent enquiry the above-mentioned account, we hereby confirm that the account has been paid in full.

The payment profile has been updated at the Bureau.

We assure you of our best attention at all times.

6 months later and the bureau hasnt ben updated which has effected my credit score as my application for vehicle finance was declined due to this. I wish to be compensated as I have the letter with me and I would like to sort this out without going the legal route.

Please someone call me, I can not wait any longer for my car! I paid your'll long ago!
The ITC report should not reflect any default because this is your mistake and not mine! I am freakin off!!!
