Checkers & Checkers Hypers
Injured in store and no first aid kit

On 2014-01-03 my husband and I went to Checkers Greenacres to do back to school shopping.

As I entered the stationery isle, a piece of glass to stuck to my open toe, as I had sandals on.

I was bleeding quite a bit, and walked to the front of the shop to ask for a first aid kit, as I wanted to disinfect the wound and stop the bleeding.

I was told that there was no first Aid kit, and was handed two plasters. No one offered to help me, my shoe was full of blood, the floor was full of blood and the least I expected was that I could clean my wound and shoe.

To top it all, no one inquired as to where the glass was, or did I see anyone clean up the blood on the floor.

How can a store of that size be run without a first aid kit? Also, why was the broken glass on the floor not attended to, as there were a lot of kids in that isle, as it is back to school?

And it cannot be said that management was not aware of the situation, as the lady that handed me the plasters, had a tag of Branch manager... unfortunately I cannot remember her name.

I am very disappointed at the treatment I received at this store, after I was injured IN STORE!!
