31st Jan @ around 10:30am I went to buy Skrillex Early Bird tickets. I waited for 5 minutes while 2-3 staff members worked 1 PC with 1 client. I polity asked if we can be helped @ one of the other 3 terminals. I was told "The systems are down".
I do IT Support @ my own company so I understand that these things happen but NO ONE bothered to say "Hi Sir, unfortunately the systems are down, I will be with you as soon as possible" nor was there a sign (which is a sign of management and the staff not being able to think ahead or place themselves in clients shoes, maybe look for new competent staff..).
If someone had told me /there was a sign I would have done some of my monthly shopping @ the store. I went to the manager who while friendlier, also said "Systems are down". He sent a lady over there who was the original 3rd person behind the counter. She said something softly to Deirdre (didnt catch her surname, she is a young coloured lady who looks to be in her mid 20's).
Deidre replied "Iv told them they systems are down so I dont know what their problem is". If I told my client that I would NEVER see them again. No wonder tourists think the service in SA is so.
