I have had an account for several years as this is where I chose to purchase the majority of my clothing. I recently purchased 2 dresses at Truworths which I took home and then put them on to show my husband. We realised that the dresses were both too BIG!!! I therefore hung both dresses up on hangers. The next day, my maid pulled the tags off and placed the items in my cupboard as she did not know I was to take them back in order to swap them for smaller sizes. Fortunately I realised this when I returned home and was able to save the tags. At the first available opportunity, which was the 18th of December 2013 (9 days after purchase) I was able to find time to return them to Truworths for exchange. The lady refused, and when I mentioned that I would find out from head office, she took the dresses to the back (to speak to the manager) and returned to inform me that there was a mark on one of the dresses, which I never wore... I am not at all impressed... I am a loyal customer and never expected this kind of treatment. Absolutely disgusted!
