Spar

I work very close to the Kwik Spar located on the corner of Judges Avenue and Beyers Naude Drive. Hence, I frequently shop at the store for odds and ends. Every single time I pay for an item and I am issued with change I am not given the 5c due to me. At first I thought it was perhaps just an error but I picked up a trend. Eventually I started to complain and was told that they did not have any 5c coins. The trend however continued, and every time I raise it, the cashier smiles shyly and offers to give me a 10c coin instead. Cashiers have obviously been instructed by management in the store not to issue 5c coins and only to give the CORRECT change if brought to their attention.

I realize 5c is not a great amount of money, but the principle behind the matter is that and is being committed. That is DISGUSTING!!!
