I visited the store in Eastgate on Thursday 5 Dec to return a duvet cover together with the matching pillow cases and decorative pillow. (The stitching on every item was coming apart) I had the necessary till slips and card. Firstly when I arrived a lady named Irene assisted me and she continue to tell me that my till slip was insufficient but she didn't know how to use the computer to print another doc she needed. She then called one of her colleagues and she also didn't know how to work the computer. The manager on duty was called and the first thing she said to me was 'what do you want'!
The manager then continued to scream at me (as if I am some sort of a child who needed to be reprimanded) saying that I had probably used the items and damaged them myself. I explained that they had been kept in a cupboard and when I went to use them I saw they were damaged. She then told me she didn't have time for me and she had other customers to get too...
I am a regular customer and I did not appreciate being shouted at or made a mockery of! I now sit with damaged goods worth over R1000 (which are even more damaged as she kept picking at the stitching while moaning at me)
