I have purchased a pair of very expensive leather shoes from Poetry (Rare Earth sandals - R599) and i can't wear them. the leather straps keep falling off my heels even after i added 3 new holes. I believe this is bad workmanship. i now cannot wear these shoes. i had them on for 2 hours max. i am very unhappy and all the Poetry staff has to say is that there is nothing they can do it is now my problem, this is unacceptable. i was helped by Tarin Josias and the manager, although i never met her was Yolandi van der Merwe.
it cannot be acceptable that a customer must pay for something they cannot wear. And the shop assistant assured me that she would call me once she had spoken to the manager, but she didn't I had to go back, so she took me for a fool as well.
