Makro advertised the following "Apple 9.7" The New iPad with Wi-Fi and Cellular" at R6999.00 .Upon getting at the Woodmead branch, waiting for the staff member for 20 mins to fetch the unit I was asked to pay R7999 I think.
Apprantly this was not the "new" ipad air but the "new ipad" - this is what the manager insisted and offered to give me a discounted price of R7499. How pathetic.
I've never been this misled by such false advertising before. I have to admit I've also gotten use to makro's rather high standards so this is a first for me.
Regardless - it takes one nasty experience to leave a sour taste and question future dealings that you may want to explore.
