Don't buy Nespresso

Relates to the purchase of a Nespresso Umilk machine as a Xmas gift. The item comes with a "voucher" for R300 to purchase coffee capsules. The capsules needed or else the item is useless. Dion Wired had however run out of vouchers but said simply to produce a copy of the invoice (stamped on the back) at Sandton Nespresso store to redeem. So now even after purchasing at Bedford we have to shlep to Sandton for the capsules. When I arrive I am told by Nespresso that I have to open the item up and get the serial number and come back to get the voucher to purchase capsules so that the "gift" can be used after Christmas. So I escalated to Dion management as I am not sure why the "customer" has to run around for an item purchased in Bedfordview back to Sandton at my expense, time and convenience. I have not received a response and would appreciate an effort being made to make the service convenient for me and not the supplier.
